💨 Abstract
An outbreak of listeria has killed one person in Ireland, with nine confirmed cases linked to 141 recalled ready-to-heat meals from Ballymaguire Foods, which supplies major retailers like Tesco and Aldi. The recalled products include various frozen dishes such as chicken curries, lasagnes, and pasta bakes. Listeriosis, caused by listeria monocytogenes, can present mild symptoms but can be severe for vulnerable individuals.
