šØ Abstract
Next Monday, an asteroid roughly the size of the Leaning Tower of Pisa will pass Earth at a distance of 393,000 miles. Named 2025 OW, it'll be the largest of five asteroids passing Earth this week. Others, though smaller, will also pass safely beyond the Moon's orbit. While these asteroids pose no threat, NASA continuously tracks over 38,600 near-Earth asteroids to ensure future safety.
