On July 27, 2025, a 41-year-old man was arrested at Glasgow Airport after shouting anti-American and anti-Trump slogans, along with "Allāhu Akbar," on an easyJet flight from London Luton. The incident occurred around 8.20 am, coinciding with U.S. President Trump's visit to Scotland. Passengers tackled the man, and he was later escorted off the plane by Police Scotland.
