💨 Abstract
Five jockeys—Rowan Scott, Callum Rodriguez, PJ McDonald, Tom Eaves, and Jack Garritty—missed a race at Goodwood after their light aircraft suffered an engine failure. The plane, a Piper PA-31, was forced to return to Bagby Airfield in North Yorkshire. During the emergency, the left engine failed, causing the propeller spinner to detach and damage the aircraft.
