💨 Abstract

The sister of Ronan Kanda, a 16-year-old boy killed by a 20-inch ninja sword in 2022, has called his legacy "bittersweet" as a new law banning such weapons comes into effect. "Ronan’s Law," named after him, makes it illegal to possess, sell, make, or import these blades.
