💨 Abstract
Goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale has joined Newcastle on a season-long loan from Southampton, with an option to buy. Ramsdale cited three reasons for his move: his admiration for St. James' Park, Newcastle's push for Champions League football, and the chance to reunite with manager Eddie Howe. Ramsdale had previously played under Howe at Bournemouth. The English international will compete with existing goalkeepers Nick Pope and Martin Dubravka for the starting position.
