💨 Abstract
Ten years ago, Victoria Mortimer, a single woman, teamed up with a friend to buy a two-bedroom flat in London. They split the £42,000 deposit and mortgage payments, initially saving on rent. However, after Victoria met a boyfriend, tensions arose over the property's future. Ultimately, the friendship ended in a "divorce," and Victoria moved out but kept her financial stake in the home. She later repurchased a home of her own.
