💨 Abstract
President Donald Trump, ahead of his summit with Vladimir Putin in Alaska, proposed a second meeting that would include Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. Trump expressed optimism that Putin and Zelensky could reach a peace agreement, although he lowered expectations for an immediate ceasefire from the initial summit. He also suggested including European leaders in the potential trilateral meeting.
