The dog, with a history of eating non-food items, was likely exposed to cocaine and other substances at a friend's house. The dog recovered after veterinary treatment with atropine and epinephrine. Vets advise pet owners to be vigilant, use muzzles, and train dogs with commands like "leave it" to prevent such incidents. Early veterinary intervention is crucial if exposure is suspected.
