💨 Abstract

Two U.S. citizens, ages 79 and 74, died from apparent drownings at a private Bahamas resort operated by Carnival Cruise Line. The incidents occurred on Celebration Key, where the guests had been dropped off from separate cruises. The man was snorkeling and became unresponsive, while the woman was found unresponsive in a pool. Both had traveled from Florida. Carnival expressed condolences and stated they have trained lifeguards and medical staff.
