💨 Abstract
Doncaster Sheffield Airport in the UK is set to reopen in winter 2027, after being closed since November 2022 due to financial viability issues. The reopening is funded by £160 million, approved by the South Yorkshire Mayoral Combined Authority. The airport aims to resume bookings by the end of 2026, with a focus on both passenger and freight flights.
