💨 Abstract

Hannah Richards, a 28-year-old healthcare assistant, initially attributed her weight gain to a comfortable relationship with her boyfriend, Nathan. However, after gaining three stone and developing a "moon face," she was diagnosed with Cushing’s disease, likely caused by a benign brain tumor. The rare condition, marked by excess cortisol, led to rapid weight gain, mood changes, and physical symptoms like stretch marks and hair growth.
