💨 Abstract
A 31-year-old farm worker, Andrew Kane, died from sepsis caused by a horsefly bite. Initially treated with antibiotics, he collapsed two weeks later and spent five weeks in a coma before passing away. His mother, Rachel, described his rapid decline and her disbelief at the tragic outcome. Andrew, a beloved family man and father to a daughter, will be remembered for his caring nature and humor. His funeral is scheduled at St. Mary’s Church in Morpeth.
