💨 Abstract
Riz Ahmed stars in a modern, fast-paced adaptation of *Hamlet*, set in the Hindu community of contemporary London. Directed by Aneil Karia, the film preserves Shakespeare’s abridged text while infusing it with South Asian culture, including a ghostly monologue in a native language. Ahmed delivers a ferocious performance as the grief-stricken, vengeful protagonist, supported by a dynamic cast.
