Failed asylum seeker ‘randomly’ stabbed dad-of-three to death in bank while he was FaceTiming friend
💨 Abstract
A failed asylum seeker, Haybe Cabdiraxmaan Nur, stabbed Gurvinder Singh Johal, a 37-year-old restaurant owner, in a Derby bank while Johal was video-calling a friend. Nur, who had entered the UK illegally and was drunk, randomly attacked Johal, leaving the knife embedded in his chest. He calmly walked away. Nur, with no mental health issues, pleaded guilty to murder.
