💨 Abstract
Sarah Power, now 41, was diagnosed with the Huntington’s Disease gene at 23, following a family history of the condition. The disease, which affects movement, thinking, and behavior, is fatal and hereditary. Sarah's grandmother and father both suffered from it. After her diagnosis, Sarah chose to live fully, traveling and eventually starting a family through IVF to avoid passing on the gene.
