💨 Abstract
A teenage boy and his father died after being attacked by a swarm of Asian giant hornets while zip-lining in Laos. Daniel Owen, 47, and his son Cooper, 15, suffered over 100 stings each and died hours later despite initial treatment. The hornets, known for their powerful stings, are not typically aggressive but can be deadly in mass attacks or to those allergic.
