💨 Abstract
In 1995, Russian spies allegedly targeted the home of a British diplomat, Andrew Carter, while he and his wife attended the Bolshoi Theatre with Princess Diana. Upon returning, they found their babysitter distressed, missing water bottles, and a computer tampered with. Carter reported this and other incidents, including meat left in vegetarians' homes and glass scattered in a flat, to the British government, expressing concern over the "rising trend" of such harassment.
