💨 Abstract
Joshua Michals, 26, is on trial for the murder of his partner, Zhe Wang, 31, a fellow student at Goldsmiths, University of London. Wang was found with fatal stab wounds and neck compression at her flat. Michals claims he acted in self-defense after Wang allegedly attacked him. He called emergency services, his father, and a solicitor before the incident. Michals admitted to disposing of Wang's phone but denied intending to kill her.
