💨 Abstract
Two Romanian nationals, Marius Bajenaru and Sorin-Costinel Ivan, were jailed for attempting to smuggle nearly 50 migrants out of the UK in lorries. Bajenaru had 17 migrants in his van and £4,000 in cash, while Ivan had 32 migrants, mostly Bangladeshi, in his HGV trailer and £9,950 in cash.
