đ¨ Abstract
Casual sex without protection can lead to sexually transmitted infections (STIs). Only 15% of Brits bought condoms last year, highlighting a concerning trend. Regular STI testing is crucial, as many infections are asymptomatic. Chlamydia, the most common STI, should be tested for two weeks after exposure. Symptoms include burning during urination and abdominal pain, but many people show no signs. Testing involves a urine sample or swab, and treatment is with oral antibiotics.
