đ¨ Abstract
London has seen a 38% increase in Prevent scheme referrals for radicalization among under-18s from April 2024 to March 2025. Parents are urged to monitor their children's online activity for signs of radicalization, such as sudden anger, secrecy about online interactions, and intolerance of differing opinions. The Metropolitan Police warns that increased internet access exposes children to harmful material. Experts advise open, non-judgmental conversations and early intervention.
