💨 Abstract

A Swiss woman, Livia Mühlheim, 25, was fatally attacked by a shark while swimming off Kylies Beach, Australia. Her boyfriend, Lukas Schindler, 26, was critically injured trying to save her. A bystander's makeshift tourniquet helped save his life. The attack has renewed calls for more 'Shark Bit Kits' along Australian coastlines. This is the fifth fatal shark attack in Australia this year.
