Granddad back in UK and in arms of daughter-in-law he was accused of trying to drown in Florida pool
đ¨ Abstract
Mark Gibbon, a British electrical engineer, returned to the UK after avoiding jail time for attempting to drown his daughter-in-law, Jasmine Wyld, in a Florida swimming pool during an argument over a will. His granddaughter tried to intervene but was pushed away. Gibbon pleaded guilty to battery, with more serious charges dropped. Wyld, who has been in a relationship with Gibbon for two years, advocated for his release, stating he had been punished enough.
