💨 Abstract

A man, David Brown, was sentenced to four and a half years in prison for assaulting a disabled man in a pub's beer garden. Brown stubbed a cigarette out in the victim's eye and continued to attack him, causing significant injuries. The victim, in his 30s, suffered lasting eye damage and emotional trauma. The attack was unprovoked, and Brown was found guilty of grievous bodily harm with intent.
