💨 Abstract
A coroner has linked social media "showing off" to fatal road collisions, highlighting a case where a newly qualified driver, Edward Spencer, caused a crash that killed three teenagers, including his passenger Matilda Seccombe. Spencer had a history of reckless driving and had shared videos of his dangerous behavior online. The coroner plans to issue a report to prevent future deaths and urged social media companies to remove such content.
