💨 Abstract

Mark Wood, the England bowler, is ruled out of the remaining three Tests of the Ashes series due to a severe knee injury. The 35-year-old, who played in the first Test, will not return, casting doubt on his international future. Wood expressed his disappointment, stating that despite extensive rehabilitation, his knee condition worsened. He thanked supporters and vowed to continue working towards a comeback.
