💨 Abstract
Paul Doyle, a former Royal Marine, was sentenced for driving into a crowd of Liverpool FC fans celebrating their Premier League victory. Dashcam footage showed Doyle screaming and driving through the crowd, injuring over 130 people, including a six-month-old baby. Doyle pleaded guilty to multiple charges, including dangerous driving and attempted grievous bodily harm. Prosecutors stated that Doyle acted out of rage, intending to cause harm to achieve his goal of getting through the crowd.
