💨 Abstract
A man in Ipswich, UK, was convicted after injuring himself with his own katana, a sword longer than the legal limit of 50cm. Shaun Hogg, 45, was hospitalized after cutting his chin while handling the sword. Police were alerted by hospital staff, leading to his conviction. Hogg was sentenced to a suspended four-month prison term and ordered to undergo rehabilitation.
