💨 Abstract
Two funeral directors, Richard Elkin and Hayley Bell, were convicted of preventing decent burials and fraud offenses. A decomposing body was found in their mortuary room, which was not refrigerated and had a leaky roof. They were found guilty of public nuisance, preventing lawful burial, and fraudulently running their business. Elkin was also convicted of forging a funeral directing certificate.
