💨 Abstract
In 2016, actress Sheridan Smith experienced a public "meltdown" during a performance of "Funny Girl" due to "double-grieving" over her father's cancer diagnosis and her brother's past death from the same disease. She later revealed that the incident was exacerbated by her decision to abruptly stop anti-anxiety medication after a humiliating joke at the TV Baftas. Smith suffered multiple seizures and was hospitalized.
