💨 Abstract
A mass shooting occurred at Bondi Beach during a Hanukkah party, resulting in 12 deaths and at least 29 injuries. One of the suspected gunmen, 24-year-old Naveed Akram from Sydney’s south-west, was identified and apprehended. The other shooter was killed at the scene. The attack, deemed a terrorist incident, targeted the Jewish community. Witnesses reported the shooters using a shotgun and rifle from a footbridge.
