A Hanukkah celebration at Bondi Beach in Sydney turned tragic when two gunmen opened fire, killing at least 12 people, including a Holocaust survivor and a British rabbi. The attack, deemed a terrorist incident, occurred during the first night of the Jewish festival. Thousands fled as the gunmen fired randomly. A bystander, Ahmed al Ahmed, heroically disarmed one of the attackers.
