💨 Abstract
The UK is bracing for severe weather, with amber and yellow warnings issued for heavy rain and potential flooding in parts of Cumbria, South West Scotland, Northern Ireland, North of England, and Wales. The Met Office advises residents to prepare flood kits and expect travel disruptions. Cumbria is expected to receive up to 200mm of rain, with other regions also facing significant rainfall. The weather will affect travel, potentially causing power cuts and road closures.
