💨 Abstract
The FBI thwarted a New Year’s Eve attack on a North Carolina grocery store, arresting 18-year-old Christian Sturdivant. Inspired by ISIS, Sturdivant planned to use knives and hammers to target shoppers, specifically aiming to harm Jews, Christians, and LGBTQ individuals. He was caught after discussing his plans with an undercover FBI agent.
