💨 Abstract
A fire at a New Year’s Eve party in the Swiss Alpine resort town of Crans-Montana left 40 people dead and over 100 injured. The managers of the bar, Le Constellation, Jacques Moretti and his wife Jessica, are under criminal investigation for negligent homicide and other charges. The fire is suspected to have started from sparkling candles on Champagne bottles. Investigators are examining the bar's safety measures, including ceiling materials and escape routes.
