💨 Abstract
Several countries, including Indonesia and Malaysia, have blocked access to Grok, an AI chatbot created by Elon Musk and integrated into X. The UK's media regulator, Ofcom, is investigating X under the Online Safety Act, which could result in fines or even a ban. The chatbot has been misused to generate sexually explicit images, prompting regulatory action. While a ban is possible, it would be complex to implement and could be circumvented using VPNs.
