If deemed under 18, access to harmful content is restricted. Users can verify their age via ID or selfie. OpenAI aims to balance safety and functionality, addressing past criticisms and concerns about AI's impact on young users. This feature is rolling out globally, except in the EU, where it will be introduced soon.
