💨 Abstract
Starting February 25, 2026, British dual citizens must present a valid UK passport or a certificate of entitlement to enter the UK. This change coincides with the introduction of the Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA) scheme, which requires visitors from visa-exempt countries to obtain an ETA before arrival. Dual citizens previously could use non-British passports but will now need to comply with these new rules to avoid entry denial.
