💨 Abstract
John Eric Spiby, who won £2.4 million in the lottery in 2010, was convicted of operating a sophisticated drugs lab at his home in Wigan and distributing counterfeit pills. The operation, which expanded to another lab in Salford, produced millions of tablets worth £67 million on the street. Spiby and his associates, including his son and Lee Drury, were involved in a conspiracy to produce and supply controlled drugs.
