💨 Abstract

Laura Starkie, a mother of two, began showing signs of memory loss, including unusual behaviors like putting shoes in a salad. Initially diagnosed with menopausal brain fog, a brain scan later revealed she had early-onset Alzheimer’s disease at age 54. Her daughters, Jenny and Barbara, took on caregiving roles, leading to significant life changes. Laura's condition deteriorated, requiring residential care.
