The author shares her personal experience of being diagnosed with Stage 3 Melanoma, an aggressive skin cancer, due to her use of sunbeds. She highlights the lack of warnings and dangerous misinformation spread by tanning companies on social media. The author started using sunbeds at 16, influenced by her peers and family. She noticed a suspicious mole in 2022, which was later diagnosed as melanoma.
