An 18-month-old girl is recovering from a fractured femur after a stranger attempted to abduct her in an Esselunga supermarket in Bergamo, Italy. CCTV footage showed the man trying to carry the girl away while her mother and passersby intervened. Security guards and the girl's father also helped capture the suspect, identified as a homeless Romanian man with no prior criminal record. The man faces charges of attempted kidnapping and aggravated assault.
