💨 Abstract

A British F-35B fighter jet shot down an Iranian drone over Jordan, marking the jet's first operational kill. British aircraft, supported by RAF Typhoons and a Voyager refueling plane, are defending UK personnel and allies in the Middle East. Earlier, British forces intercepted drones in Iraqi airspace and shot down one targeting Qatar. Prime Minister Keir Starmer allowed US use of British bases for defensive strikes on Iran's missile sites.
