💨 Abstract
Gary McKinnon, a Scottish hacker, accessed 97 U.S. military and government websites in the early 1990s, seeking evidence of a UFO cover-up. He claimed to have seen a strange, smooth, cigar-shaped object in space and a spreadsheet labeled "nonterrestrial officers." McKinnon also mentioned testimony from a former NASA contractor about airbrushing UFOs from public images.
