💨 Abstract
A measles outbreak in Enfield, north London, has seen 80 cases in under three months, with 235 cases confirmed in the UK since January. Measles, highly contagious and six times more transmissible than COVID-19, spreads through airborne droplets and can cause severe complications, especially in young children. Vaccination rates are below the 95% needed to curb the spread, with Enfield having the lowest uptake.
