💨 Abstract
Jeffrey Epstein, after his 2008 conviction, recruited young adult models resembling teenagers to avoid scrutiny. He abused these women financially and sexually, coercing them into bringing more women into his circle. Former Russian model Svetlana Pozhidaeva was one such victim, lured by promises of a modeling career. Epstein controlled her life, securing her visa and housing her in Manhattan. He used financial dependency and threats to maintain control, promising jobs that never materialized.
