💨 Abstract
By 2050, climate change could make playgrounds too hot for children, reduce evening walks for the elderly, and decrease bike commuting. A study predicts that for every additional month with average temperatures above 27.8°C, physical inactivity will increase, leading to 470,000 to 700,000 premature deaths worldwide. Rising temperatures, caused by greenhouse gases from burning fossil fuels, will exacerbate health risks and reduce mobility.
