💨 Abstract
Iran executed three men, including a 19-year-old wrestler, Saleh Mohammadi, as part of its anti-protest crackdown. The men were accused of killing police officers during January demonstrations and were convicted of "moharebeh," or waging war against God. Human rights campaigners allege that the confessions were obtained through torture. Mohammadi, who was part of the Iranian national wrestling team, was arrested in January and sentenced to death last month.
