đ¨ Abstract
The U.S. Army has increased the maximum enlistment age to 42, aligning with other branches except the Navy and Marines. This change comes as the U.S. deploys troops to the Middle East amid tensions with Iran. The Army will also allow individuals with a single marijuana conviction to enlist. Meanwhile, the White House has not ruled out a draft, though it's unlikely without congressional approval.
